I ordered two items, only one was shipped. - 3-1/2 basket strainer/drain


Don't ever order anything online from Home Depot , they are the worst company to deal with and their customer service reps., don't know what they're doing. I ordered two strainer/drains and only received one. I immediately contacted Home Depot via their "live chat" and was told that I'd have to wait until their vendor could be reached to confirm that only one item was shipped. When I stated that Home Depot was the vendor I was then told it was the warehouse, when in fact that 's not the case at all. It appears that Home Depot's online products are not shipped from Home Depot they come from the vendor/manufacturer, this is something that all buyers should beware of. I immediately called Home Depot and spoke with a rep., who said she'd refund me the amount I paid the item I didn't receive and then she'd have to place another order and would include express shipping (free of charge).. Little did I know that my refund would not happen until they reached the "vendor", to verify I wasn't lying about the number of items I received. To add insult to injury, I was told that it's Home Depot's policy to investigate such matters and could take 14 "business days" to conclude. Yet, Home Depot has charged my account and have been paid for 3 strainers and now I'm being told that it will take 3-5 business days for my refund to hit my account. It doesn't end there. I received an email stating that a refund has been authorized, which will take 3-5 business days to go through and they didn't refund me the total amount I paid. I had to make yet another call to get them to include the sales tax to my refund, which will be a separate transaction. This company is a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything online with them.
