counter top nightmare
we have asked for a quote. they sent a man out to measure. he did and gave us the papers to take to the store for the order to be written up. we did and we paid for the order, however when it came time for the installation we were called by the store telling us that the man who did the measuring was not authorized to do so, and the order was 40 sq. ft. short according to the manufacturer and installer. hence, we have to pay $1600.00 more and until we pay it there will not be any work done. by than we had demod out the counter and we had to go ahead with the work. inspite of the fact that on the order it states that the minute we paid for the order we had a written contract with home depot .
we have written to the CEO of home depot but without any response. we are extremely unhappy and would never do any work with home depot ever again.
