Horrible Online ordering experience with Home Depot
We orderd toliets and tiles from Home Depot online to be delivered to local store and both experiences have been terrible. The tiles came broken and we had to make severla call to get that problem resolved as the local store will not be responsible for online orders.
The toilets were ordered in two seperate online orders and experiecne was worst with both. The first order of toilet took over a month before we were told by the logistics company that the order was lost and I had to contact Home depot online customer service and basically start all over again. The toilet that was part of second order arived in broken condition at the local store. Lucky for me, I opened it at the store before bringing it home.
Home Depot online will refund all my money and then the game needs to start all over again - reorder and then call customer service multiple times, wait for over half hour each time to talk with a customer service rep, during conversation being put on hold for multiple times, and you do all the tracking/checking/follow-up to make sure you get the items you ordered onlne in perfect condition . Basically wasted over six weeks and many hours on the phone and the project is still not done and still do not have any toilets delivered.
At this point I feel that I will never again work with Home Depot online unless I see them completely turn around my experience when they reorder my items and deliver them in perfect condition .
I order things online all the time from other retailers and never once had so many issues. Home Depot has to step up their game in online ordering if they want to compete with other online retailers.
