Never use Home Depot for major home systems

I used Home Depot in Glastonbury Ct, for a free HVAC consultation, proposed full system replacement/ installation of a brand new Trane XV80, 2 stage variable speed blower system and 16 SEER 2 ton air compressor. The entire installation is flawed. The system is not working properly. Instead of providing energy efficiencies they have made alterations to the Trane factory delivered contents that actually increased both gas and electric consumption and introduced health issues because they cut a large opening in the blower housing. To add insult to injury Home Depot Corporate Customer Service department in Atlanta is blaming me for not knowing more than their expert HVAC consultant, because while they said they needed to replace my thermostat, they only replaced it with a 1 stage Thermostat, so the system will never work properly!!! They required payment in full prior to installation. After I reported my dispute my bank put a stop payment on the check and issued me a reference code to release the payment once the disputed was resolved. Home Depot Corporate fraudently processes an unauthorized ACH bank transaction to bypass the hold on the check!!!
I am not sure how this will turn out. But who, other than me thinks that Home Depot must be in really bad financial problems after their data breach and image down turn to have to resort to intimidation, bullying, deceptive sales practices, and POOR TO NO true customer service!!!
